GREENS CREW

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities may include landscape maintenance, sand trap grooming, walk and/or ride mowing, detailed edging and pruning, general cleanup and landscape bed maintenance. Use of hand tools including power equipment (i.e. weedeaters, hover mowers, stick edgers, blowers).
-A willingness to accomplish all that is asked in a professional manner and with a cheerful attitude while showing good character and judgement as part of a vibrant team of professionals.
-Assist with staging and setup of the golf course and grounds on a daily basis as directed.
-Assist in maintaining the Golf Course, Rough Areas, Sand Traps, Cart Paths, Landscape Beds, Course Rest Stations, Clubhouse Grounds and Practice Areas to the highest standards.
-Fulfill any other requests as presented by the Golf Course Superintendent or General Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
No previous work experience required. A valid Dirver's License is required. Must be eligible to work within the United States.
Pre-employment screening will be conducted for each candidate, which will include a background check and drug screening.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

  • Frequently walks, bends, climbs, kneels and extends reach to complete assigned tasks
  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds

BANQUET EVENT STAFF
Painted Dunes is now seeking members to become an integral part of our team. Banquet Staff will assist in running Weddings, Banquets and Special Events in a professional manner.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • TABC Seller/ Server License
  • Food Handlers Card
  • Responsible and Dependable
  • Previous experience in banquet set-up a plus
  • Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
  • Enthusiasm a definite must have
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
  • Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverage recipes
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language (English) used in the workplace.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Communicate with all Guests and Staff in a courteous and professional manner
  • Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining/ function room quickly, efficiently, and properly
  • Set-up and tear down of meeting rooms and private function areas
  • Storing equipment and materials neatly
  • During functions, refresh function areas - tidy up room, replenish water, tea, coffee etc as needed
  • Vacuum all meeting rooms before and/or after functions
  • Clean, mop and vacuum meeting rooms
  • Empty trash from all function areas
  • Ability to work with and handle cash drawer and counting
  • Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items and be able to make recommendations
  • Accurately take beverages orders from guests and deliver within established time frames
  • Verify the age of all guests who purchase alcohol in accordance with company policy, Limiting sales only to guests who are at least 21 years of age
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar and lounge area, including related equipment
  • Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
  • Stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Lift and move up to 20 pounds
  • Frequently walks, bends, climbs, kneels and extends reach to complete assigned tasks
  • Must be able to perform duties of other kitchen or banquet staff if needed
  • Must be welcoming and respectful to patrons of diverse backgrounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONTEXT
  • Fast-pace environment
  • Kitchen, Restaurant and Banquet rooms may be crowded and filled with dangerous objects and areas - example hot ovens, wet floors
  • Work schedule varies and may include covering shifts - AM/PM, weekdays, evenings, holidays and weekends.
  • Reasonable degree of flexibility with shift changes.
